WRITING TASK 1

The provided maps illustrate how an industrial area in the town of Norbiton is predicted to changed in the future.
Overall, the area might undergo some significant changes, with the most notable ones being the conversion from factories to housing. In addition, the construction of shops, medical centre, playground and school might also recorded.
The planned map witness the expansion of the road to the west. Situate on both side of this new road are houses and shops, which used to be factories at the moment. Meanwhile, to the northern side of the map, the road might be extended on this direction and a newly bridge might be built to cross the river, leading to the the new housing area on the other bank.
In the future, a medical center might be appearanced in the south of the map to meet the demand of using medicine of the people. Factories on both sides of the eastern road in the future might be demolished to make way for new housing areas. Moreover, the construction of new school and playground in the east of the map might also recorded.

WRITING TASK 2

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

Write about the following topic:

Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money, others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Write at least 250 words.

People have different views about how to interact with negative situation such as undesirable career or lack of cash. While some individuals argue that accepting this situation is the best choice, I personally believe that people should try and find way to make such situations better.
On the one hand, there are various compelling reasons why some people choose satisfying bad situation that they meet. However, the most significant reason is they do not have enough power either influence to reserve the condition. This can be seen in the case of losing family members. As death is the event that must happen in people's life that we can not predict or control, seeing people around pass down might cause sadness and powerless. Therefore, people can do nothing but accept it and go ahead.
On the other hand, i firmly hold the view that individuals should try to improve the bad condition. For instance, if you were born in poor family, this can not be the reasons that you can not finish your study or study aboard. In reality, there were many cases that poor people can finish their college study or study aboard by winning a scholarship.
In conclusion, although accepting bad situation is advantageous to some extent, it seems to me that it is better to find other way to improve the condition of bad events.
